A model for reference grammars of sign languages: Methods of analysis and description of sign systems in the light of Turkish Sign Language” is a three-year project funded by TÜBİTAK (grant no. 111K314; 2012-2015). The aim of the project is to investigate the concepts, categories, rules and methods for writing a descriptive reference grammar of Turkish Sign Language (TİD). The project was part of COST IS1006 (2011-2015), “Unraveling the grammars of European sign languages: Pathways to full citizenship of deaf signers and to the protection of their linguistic heritage.
